AI Music Generation on YouTube

Finding background music for your videos can be a real challenge.

Well, YouTube is rolling out an AI tool that lets you generate music based on prompts.

Read the Fine Print with Any Music

Here’s the thing with any music on videos.

You need to check the details.

You likely can’t use the same music that was created/offered on one platform on any other platform.

Some music requires that you give attribution to the creator.

And some music only carries a personal use license, not a commercial license, meaning you can’t use it on any videos related to your business.

Also, royalty-free does not mean that it covers any of the above, only that you don’t have to pay every time it is played.

Substack Live Streaming Attracts Big Folks

Chris Matthews started hosting his political talk Hardball show in 1994 and moved it to major networks including CNBC and MSNBC.

And now he’s moving it to Substack.

Ad Tips

Ads Get Eyeballs

Reach online is getting so hard to do organically that running ads is one of the few ways you can guarantee that more folks see your offers.

What ads still work?

Course and digital download ads are still working on Facebook. In fact, that platform is still preferred over all others.

I know of folks who are doing $70k/mo ad spend on Facebook – and getting it all back, plus running a profit.

So, I’m not kidding when I say that Facebook still works.

Diving Into Ads

It has been a long time since I’ve run any ads.

And the last 2 times that I hired affordable agencies, the results were not good. They just didn’t take the time to get to know my business and my followers and because of that, they didn’t choose the best audience to show those ads to.

So, I’m going to dive into running my own – but I need to refresh my knowledge about they work now, as Meta has made changes.

I won’t be doing this alone.

One of my clients is wanting to run ads soon too, so we are going to do it together and compare how-to notes, plus strategy and results.

Their are 2 primary goals for running ads – get more followers or get conversions.

I’m not doing a freebie because I’m not trying to gain more followers. I’m going for conversion. So, I’ll be running an ad for a low-cost offer that leads to an upsell.

This first round will be a low ad-spend experiment that will help me gain metrics so that I can tweak my ad or offer before I commit more money to it.

I need to create the offer first and then we hope to start running ads sometime in May.

I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.
